Cruising Committee The beach party at the Whites' on Cushing Island
Maine Cruise 2005 Some of you remember the (rather.... foggy) weather in Maine 2 years ago. Your Cruising Committee did, so we ordered an upgrade. We got it. In all, some 28 boats participated, with 112 people registered, including 10 kids and one (well attended) dog. We had 7 events, with the lobster bake at Burnt Coat Harbor on Swan's Island being the best attended - 22 yachts and 66 people. The following photos will give you some idea of the fun we had: | | | The Kids making clay boats at Castine | The quarry swim at SwanÂ’s Island | | |
We had too many great experiences to describe in detail (including 2 races). Many people contributed to the success of this cruise, from taking on events to helping support them - thanks to all of you.
