Buzzards Bay & Narragansett Bay Cruise: July 24 - 30, 2010

Join us for a southern Cruise to Buzzard’s Bay and Narragansett Bay this July. With three official gatherings, and many opportunities for great sailing and exploring, this year’s Cruise is sure to be great fun. We are delighted that the Hoyts have invited us to a Rendezvous at their home in Padanaram, up the Slocum River, and that the Foleys are organizing a Red Brook Rendezvous. In addition to the Herreshoff Marine Museum in Narragansett Bay, these two evenings will help make this a wonderful warm water Cruise. Join former Commodore Chet Shuman and his wife Evelyn for a day-long rendezvous that starts with lunch at their home at the southern end of Westport Island. The Shumans have a few moorings and a good anchorage. They also have a large dinghy dock. In the afternoon, there will be an informal race/cruise up the Sheepscot River to the Cross River and Oven Mouth where we'll have GWCs and an overnight stay.
